Adapted Yoga on DVD

Do you or a family member have a mobility limitation or disability and want to access our Adapted Yoga program? We are currently working on a DVD so we can bring Adapted Yoga to you. Let us know if you are interested in being part of an exclusive group "Adapted Yoga VIP" (very important participant) to be involved with the filming the video and appearing in the video as a class participant. A day of participation is needed and you will receive free lunch and snacks as well as a free Adapted Yoga Video when it is comes out! Filming date has not been determined.

Home Adaptations and Renovations

Does your current home design limit you or your disabled family member from independently accessing all it has to offer, including kitchen appliances, bathroom facilities, shared family spaces and outdoor spaces? There are grants and funding options available to build or renovate your home so it is more accessible. It is difficult for busy families to project manage the architect, builder and trades people that are involved in the process. Let us know if you are planning a renovation or wanting to build a new home and we can connect you with families and services that have gone through it and can help you navigate your way through it.

Ergonomic Legislation and Policies in the Workplace

Does your company have an Ergonomic Policy in place? Manitoba Legislation now expects employers to respond when risks have been identified or are obvious and are expected to use control measures, such as ergonomic assessments to determine ways of reducing MSI (Musckoloskeletal Injury) risk factors in the workplace. What policies are in place at your workplace to ensure risk factors are identified and controlled?
